Welcome to the Salisbury Area Property Owners Association Website. Whether you are a large investment property owner/manager, own a single rental unit, or own or manage commercial property, we invite you to be a member of SAPOA. SAPOA provides a range of professional services that specialize in the management of investment property. It is SAPOA's objective to raise the rental industry standard by providing all of our members with the resources needed to conduct your business ethically and responsibly. Through maintaining a standard of ethical property management, we increase profitability of our individual businesses and better the community in the process. SAPOA is a problem solving organization. In terms of community relations, it is SAPOA's objective to be a willing partner in seeking cost effective solutions to community problems through active partnership with city departments, local agencies and neighborhood associations. In order for effective solutions to be identified with a minimum of negative unintended consequences, SAPOA believes it is vital for all perspectives to be heard and considered. All parties benefit from mutual respect. When the win/win scenario is the goal, full and proactive cooperation of the rental community is easily sustained. Through sharing of multiple perspectives, SAPOA seeks to build strong neighborhood relations via collaboration with the City of Salisbury Police Department and the Sheriff’s Department to fight crime and constructively settle neighborhood issues immediately as they arise. Another of SAPOA's responsibilities is to use our collective bargaining skills to positively influence the crafting of regulation that impacts our industry at the city, state and federal level.
